We have a strong field today! With multiple National & Regional Champions stacked up in this Final. This is A-FINAL quality racing elsewhere - so stay tuned this is going to have some action.

A full 10 cars on the grid is going to keep the drivers busy. Field spread will quickly fill out the entire lap, quality drivers are at high risk of going a lap down - lap times are incredibly low in the high 17's.
How would you approach this race? Attack the Kyosho triples in 1 move? Or play it a little more conservatively and go for a double-single combo? This is the high pressure environment that the drivers stress themselves through for 300 seconds. With 16 action points per lap (corners & jumps combined) this has the drivers working every second in a direction change... whether it be the x-axis or y-axis (but hopefully not rotating through z-axis, it's not going to end well)

These are specialised racing chassis, so make sure you talk to your local club and find out what's common, like Yokomo & Team Xray are 2 of the high end platforms; you'll probably not find them at any hobby store - you might need to find a store that supports r/c racing near you.

So let's see how this goes, Radio Controlled Car Racing at it's most exciting - I have no favourite, any one of the skilled drivers can win this this intense form of motorsport. An important thing to know when getting started in r/c car racing is that you want to join a class with a large number of drivers. This way you'll always have someone to measure yourself with around the same skill level. Now - don't start here in 2WD buggy, that's an expensive deep dive - but once you've had a few races in a Vintage class or Tamiya Spec class, then invest in a class with big numbers. It just means your not learning on your own with a car way out in front, and another way behind and no race craft is needed.
