Welcome to Round 3 of the Formula 1 Championship season. Hosted by North Harbour Radio Control Car Club on the North Shore of Auckland New Zealand.
Racing open wheel Formula 1 style cars takes a lot of skill; unlike the real thing these radio controlled cars have more in common with a go-kart than an F1 car. Very basic setups, narrow tuning options, rear wheel drive and rear brakes only make these cars quite a handful to drive on the painted concrete surface.
Managing to switch between driving and F1 and a touring car is a tough job, and takes a skilled pilot, but they can be very rewarding to drive.

Class specifications:
1/10th scale F1 or Indy car, such as Xray or Tamiya
Must be a pan car (no independent rear suspension)
1000gram minimum weight
21.5 Turn brushless motors & lipo battery
