These occurred entirely by chance at stop lights before a highway on-ramp and off-ramp respectively on the same evening. Perhaps to my advantage, I didn't look at either of the other drivers or indicate that I was going to punch it (which I often do after red lights with an open road regardless of anyone else). My tires didn't slip at all and the tire noises heard were from the other cars. I kept my top speed within 5 MPH of the speed limit in both cases (70 and 55), which was why the second car shot past. Charge level was at approximately 35% (70 Rated Miles) and 25% (50 RM).

The Model S 60 is the slowest and lowest range car Tesla ever made. Even the base Model 3, at about half the price, has a quicker 0-60 and a bit more range, plus several nice standard features that didn't exist in 2014.
