Here's a fun flashback video to my 2018 trip to Top Gun. This giant scale G.91 looked to fly sweet. There were a total of 4 of them at the event and they were massive. Few folks know that the US Army actually evaluated the Fiat G.91 for a short period of time as a forward air control aircraft. Only two were evaluated, but ultimately the US Army relinquished fixed wing aircraft operation to the USAF. I saw a full sized G91 a while back at the Boeing Museum of Flight and was actually surprised at how small the airplane is in full scale. #USArmy #TurnbackTuesday #TheRCGeek
