Avios Albatross by HobbyKing is a great grass field plane as well as a water plane. Great scale appearance with twin counter rotating motors and reversing ESC’s I fly on Admiral 3600mah 4s or 4000mah 4’s packs and get approximately 6-8 minutes of flight with proper throttle management. I also use the Admiral 600 6 channel receiver with gyro and she’s really locked in. I removed the water rudder and spring for better grass takeoffs and landings. This is an amazing plane especially considering the price which with proper coupons can be bought for slightly over $200.00. Very easy to assemble with online PDF from HobbyKing.com/AviosAlbatross with all servos and motors installed. Just install control linkages, and with a few other screws, you’ll be up and flying. On either land or water, this is a great looking plane that will certainly draw a crowd and put a smile on your face.
