The Yamaha FZ-X is a little brother to some very popular international Yamaha motorcycles, the delectable XSR900 and the equally desirable XSR155 (which is the retro cousin to the YZF-R15!). But, obviously, it’s based on the FZ, which is an Indian legend in its own right, to be sure. But, the question really is, what does the FZ-X do on the street? Is it different enough? Retro enough?
