Since the release of the first XRAY touring car in 1999, they have been a driving force in the 1/10 electric touring car racing scene. With countless wins in multiple classes at the local, regional, national and international levels, XRAY has become the standard by which touring cars are measured.

The T4'14 features an all-new, narrower 89mm chassis specifically designed with emphasis on improved traction and steering characteristics. The all-new chassis was designed to accommodate the new suspension mounts -- one of the most significant improvement features of the T4'14.

The 2.2mm thick chassis is CNC-machined from premium-grade graphite material, pre-drilled for optional parts such as chassis weights, graphite motor guard, graphite adjustable battery holder, and battery strap. Due to the increase in LiPo capacity and heavier duty electronics to handle the increased power of modern brushless systems, the chassis was designed to allow the weight to move as close as possible to the chassis centerline in order to maintain balance.

The T4'14 features all-new aluminum suspension holders featuring Integrated Suspension Settings (ISS) which allows for super fast and easy suspension geometry changes. This XRAY concept was first introduced in the very first XB8 and now has been carried over to 1/10 scale on-road.

The all-new arms feature the innovative SFA™ (Suspension Flex Adjustment). You can easily adjust the flex of the arms as appropriate by quickly adding optional graphite stiffeners. To accommodate the ultra-low design of the T4 platform, the bulkheads were completely redesigned to be positioned towards the chassis center line. All 4 differential bulkheads now share a common design in order to reduce spare parts requirements.

The T4 platform features optimized suspension parts carried over from the T3 platform. T4 shock absorbers were completely redesigned and re-engineered. The all aluminum SLP shocks (Super Low Profile) were developed to lower the CG of the car to the absolute maximum. This was in order to improve stability and less prone to traction roll, letting you carry more speed through high traction sweepers.
