just tested my 1440001 if all is well during the last Preventive Maintenance done to the buggy
and yes it does made a difference on the sound and handling

What was done
1. Opened , cleaned the differential gears and replaced the silicon oil with silicone grease
2. cleaned and greased the gearbox and pinion gear, spur gears
3. removed the slop from the steering bushing on steering bar.. and set the tension the the lowest possible binding
4. Cleaned the bearing on the wheel and relube with silicone oil
5. Check all the shock absorbers.. replaced the oil with higher CST silicone oils for better road balance
so far all the PM procedures were good. the buggy was really silent and the steering was spot on no more slop...
