After frying my ESC 2 minutes into practice last night, I spent the rest of the time scrambling to get the car working again using my spare ESC. I got it all soldered up, but it was acting very strange, shutting off at random times, not reaching full throttle, steering when I didn't tell it to, not steering when I tried to. I tried replacing the receiver and using glitch busters, all which helped a little but not a lot.

I told them to run the races without me, but Dion was fixing something with his car as well, so I had a very small opportunity to fix it. I tried a few things, and in the end it seemed to be the rear fan cord or the extension cable I had on it causing interference. Will I make it to the end of the race without anything blowing up? And furthermore, will Dion even make it past the first jump?

Btw, this was my first race with this car, and my first 4wd race since I was in Novice. Paint job is Spiderman vs the Green Goblin (nicknamed "Duality"), painted by myself.

Poor Dion crashing on the first jump. He didn't even finish a lap, so the statistics skipped him thinking he was a no-show :(
