WHAT WENT WRONG ? PILOT ABORTS 3D VECTORED JET FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION !!!
After some classic smooth jet aerobatic flying the pilot switched on the vectored thrust to demonstrate the 3D capabilities of this jet. After pulling a tight loop the jet loses lift and stability. The pilot throttles up and wrestles with the sticks to regain control before successfully steering the jet away from the trees! The crowd cheered recognising the skill and experience of the pilot in being able to deal with this unexpected behaviour. Great to see that the pilot decided to land after this incident. He quite obviously wasn't happy with the way the jet was performing with thrust vectoring switched on. Was he caught out by wind turbulence or was it a loose linkage in the thrust vectoring system or something else?
