Hey guys,

So another sad day has come where one of our favourite planes has been lost :(

As most of you know this super scorpion was a great flying airplane, that we hav had a lot of fun with over the years! Unfortunately this flight took at turn for the worst and did not go according to plan.

As you will see in the video my father was on the controls via buddy box for the flight, and was doing a great job! As he was coming into the bank the airplane seemed to not respond to his command. As he was starting to loose control I tried to take the plane myself but I had no success myself! You will hear my transmitter beep as I take it from him a few seconds before impact! Like he said, It was not responding! When I logged the data from the flight I could see the signal strength was strong so receiver lockout was not the cause! I personally believe on of the elevator halves failed in flight, thus as he was turning his other elevator became an aileron which initiated the roll!

As you will see there was nothing left of the plane as it did catch fire, but unfortunately that's the name of the game sometimes. Although I make jokes about it these truly do hurt, but you have to laugh them off and keep going!

Fortunately for everyone else we captured the whole thing on video and I hope we can bring someone else a laugh along the way!
