Well, that was unexpected... today (6/08/2021) I suddenly found myself a witness to an emergency situation of sorts where the firefighters' airborne rescue team presumably came to save some people in the middle of the countryside. I don't yet know the details of what happened exactly but I will update this description as soon as I know more.

They came in a Bell 412EP helicopter (Reg: EC-JIM), immediately deployed the first-aid crew down on the field using a wire to assist in the emergency and then decided to perform quite a challenging landing off-field in a confined space to retrieve the personel. I had my cellphone around so I took video of the events.

Luckily enough, my friend Tuckie filmed the same helicopter from our local RC model Club as it was arriving to the area and later as it went away. He was kind enough to share this videos with me so we managed to combine it all to deliver these beautiful images of the airmen in action!
