THAT WAS CLOSE ! Turbine RC jet airliner nearly hits bird | Wings & Wheels Model Spectacular 2022
Airliner RC flights are normally calm and sedate affairs but Jonathan was flying his 727 flat out in the 20 mph winds at this show. At this one moment a bird strayed into his path and despite the 727 missing it it might have distracted him for an instant and the low pass came very close to a touch and go ! Otherwise an exceptional flight in the strong winds.
