RC Buggy is a 1/10 scale 4WD Buggy. (not 2WD) did a complete strip down and rebuilt with 300K CST silicon diffs. To keep the grease in the diffs i used green slime and bathroom silicon on all screws and outdrives. The fresh diffs are thick now, and give the buggy lots of grip. grease is for kids, adults should have silicon in their diffs. Also during the rebuild i put oil (tamiya yellow 300CST) in the shocks, i did have any seals so just used bathroom silicon!
3K Nimh battery, standard brushed motor. Standard Tamiya AM radio.
Boat is something i found in front of my house in the council cleanup. with remote. needed to be charged. i charged is as an nimh battery. but it didnt run. so i cracked the case open. surprised to see its a 1S li-ion battery. so charged it properly to 4.1Volts. took 90 mins. reemed a hole in the top so i could run a charge lead directly to the battery. the boat comes with a 5v usb cable but this didnt seem to work at all. the boats performance was hit and miss. sometimes it would work for 2 mins then stop. sometimes it would behave like the battery was flat. it would go and stop go and stop. not going to spend more time here. was fun to fix but a shame it didnt work
