The assembly of Tamiya's "Lunch Box" RC Monster Truck Kit. We built it the weekend of January 12-13, 2008. This model was originally brought out in 1987 and Tamiya did a re-release, probably to celebrate the 20 year anniversary in 2007.This is the first RC model we have assembled. It is a joy to work with. Building it and running it is a LOT of fun. I would recommend any RC enthuiast to build a model from the kit so you get to know the engineering of it. This knowledge is invaluable when you have to diagnose or repair or upgrade your vehicle. The large tyres give it great clearance from any small obstacles on the road and the bright yellow colour reflects our hot Caribbean Sun here in Trinidad brilliantly!
