Hello and welcome to this video where Rob and I take our 2 Tamiya Dark Impact DF-03 buggies to the track for a race - battle time!
Robs orange DF-03 had the advantage of a 13.5T Brushless motor, but my red DT-03 had many YEAH Racing alloy hop-ups and a Tamiya Torque Tuned brushed motor! It was a close call because the slippier parts of the track meant that the brushless power advantage was negated due to loss of traction. However, the orange buggy made up for it with awesome speed on the straights! We had great fun filming this run over a couple of days, I hope you enjoy the footage.
