Expensive budget, top of the range, entry-level... All contradicting statements that actually sum up this new release from Tamiya. Possibly the last TT02 we could see from Tamiya, the Type-SRX.
The TT02 chassis is probably the most released chassis kit by Tamiya since 2013 being twinned with countless body kits. The TT02 chassis family has always been known for being a budget-friendly, flexible chassis with more available upgrade options than you can ever imagine. Drift versions, street car versions, buggies, and even a bit of rallying now and again. So what's so special about the SRX Kit? Well at over £300, this is not a budget option, not by a long shot. So why is the SRX so expensive for an entry level chassis design? In this video, we unbox, build, and compare it directly with an entry level TT02 and see if we can work that out.
