I started building this model in 1974 but didn't get around to finishing it until 44 years later. The plans are for Cleveland Models Supermarine S6-B 1931 Schneider Trophy winner (kit #SF-19), also known as the forerunner of the Spitfire. It has aileron, elevator, and throttle controls and is covered in tissue paper. The model is tricky to fly and not really waterproof, so I won't be trying to fly it from water.
