Dudes! We're seeing if we can recreate the Space Shuttle Program with R/C planes and model rockets. After watching a Space Shuttle documentary, I thought it would make an interesting Project Air mini-series to build and launch a model space shuttle from beginning to end. This is part 2. Check out part 1 here.

To provide you with some more info, we're using Estes solid rocket motors to propel a foam board Space Shuttle attached to boosters into the atmosphere for it to detach and be piloted back down. This episode sees the shuttle drop tests from an R/C airplane, much like the Enterprise drop tests from a NASA Boeing 747.

Note! These are very vague and just what I used to make my own shuttle. I improvised some of the parts from foam board and you'll have to do the same.
