Yeah, i know, it's utter crap, yours would be so much better. Yeah, i know, the gears shouldn't scream like that, i've re-built the whole car twice since i filmed this. after a catastrophic crash that destroyed the camera bracket. that was fun too. Both crashing and re-building.

Here are some of the laps we got to do at Penrith Slot Raceway, in Sydney, Australia. They have a pretty cool pricing strategy, though it took some explaining to get through my thick head. We only had time for an hour and a bit, we’d driven from Adelaide to see KISS play their last show in Australia, (EVER?), and my lovely was kind enough to indulge me. Afterwards we had lunch around the corner at Lattetude, very good food, great service.
We stayed on the one track, I’m still learning how to operate a GoPro, how the car runs, and how much patience Rachel actually has. I’d go back, i’d like footage of every lane at every track, everywhere. The guys were great to us, the place is clean and well lit, lots of parking, tracks well maintained. We plan to collaborate on a series of podcasts about setting cars up, and the advice and help I got with my car, and on the day is invaluable. Thanks Guys, and I hope to see you soon.

I’ve built this contraption, both for the fun of building something useful, but more with the aim of making a series of documentaries about the cool hobbies that folks have, building models, although more the ones that do something rather than static. Not that there is anything wrong with that. So eventually all scales of trains, scale RC boats, RC cars, RC trucks, with a focus on the fact that this is big business all over the world, “not just a hobby”, such a demeaning term.
