Sikorsky-Boeing Reveals DEFIANT X, Fastest and Most Advanced Assault Helicopter Yet

Details of the state-of-the-art helicopters designed by Sikorsky, the Lockheed Martin Company, and Boeing have been released for the FLRAA program. The program is a competition for the US Army's future Long-Range Assault Aircraft.

Citing from News 18 site, The aircraft, named DEFIANT X, will be the fastest, most maneuverable and most survivable assault helicopter in history. The Army is expected to release a request for proposal on FLRAA later this year, with a contract award expected in 2022.
