Took a modified Tamiya TB04 (shaft) against our championship winning Xray T4 2018 (belt) to see which car is faster in our modified class (5.5T brushless motors). I made modifications to the TB04 suspension and lowered the cg which made the battle very interesting.

Despite being relatively old, the TB04 is 2014 and Xray T4 is 2018, these two cars still posted the fastest laps of the day. Our Xray T4 has also won many races in 2021. As long as you understand physics and car setup you can still win with older cars.
