Ukraine's defense minister on Tuesday (January 31) hailed France for supporting arms to Ukraine, including 12 additional Caesar howitzers and light AMX-10 RC armoured combat vehicles.

Training Ukrainian pilots to fly fighter jets was "part of our discussions but no decision has yet been taken on that issue," the minister said.
