Rlaarlo AK-917 - Are there Problems ???

Even before Rlaarlo started shipping the production version of the AK-917, 'problems' had begun...not problems with the vehicle, itself, but with people wanting their AK-917s "yesterday". With the huge push by Amazon, people have come to expect things almost instantaneously...and, worse, when a company states they plan to ship a product by a certain date, there are consumers who expect that date to be "written in stone", ignoring the possibility that there could potentially be manufacturing delays. The truth is, these are not "real" problems.

Then, there are real problems...as in, quality-control problems. Does the AK-917 have them? Yes. But, in truth, they are almost entirely minor, can easily fixable by those purchasing the AK-917. The shocks might not be completely filled with oil and/or not properly bled...the differential's ring gears might not be properly greased...the plastic chrome 'exhaust' might have broken during shipping. Thankfully, these are al things the end-user can fix, either directly, or by contacting Rlaarlo's customer service to get a replacement shipped. On that subject, to anyone complaining that Rlaarlo isn't answering emails, yes, they are...but, they have been inundated with emails (most, from what I've been told, coming from people trying to find out when their AK-917 is shipping), thus causing a delay in them responding. My email about the broken exhaust, and missing chassis protector (ie. "film barrier" took almost a week before they replied, and mine was among the early-received emails.

That being said, in this video, I delve into what problems - real & 'imagined' - there are, and how to fix them. In the next video (coming very soon), I will cover replacement parts you should and/or might want to have on-hand, as well as recommended upgrade parts.
