This is just a simple quick slideshow of the a plane, Pilot Barn Stormer 25S That I built from a kit back in the 1980’s. The plane sat in my garage for about 30 years when I decided to clean it up and see if I could fly it again. The OS Max or OS Engines.25 FP engine was grimy and a little stiff to turn, bit with a little work and cleanup with some solvent and re lubricant, the engine turned over and started up nicely. I recovered the wing using White Monokote because I had repair a little hangar rash. I also updated the electronics using a Futaba 6J system. It took it out and after some taxi I het the throttle and she flew once again! I flew it for several months and then one day I was zipping around the sky and in a dive maneuver the left wing fluttered and tore in half and the plane smashed into the runway and shattered. I wasn’t taking video that day so I only got some pictures of the leftover pieces. I guess we all have been there. Crashing is part of the hobby and sometimes part of the fun!

I have been building, flying, crashing, modifying, and repairing radio control planes (RC Planes) for many years and enjoy sharing what I do with the radio control plane community, so I started RC Plane Tech channel for fun. I am not an expert, there are many different techniques to building radio control planes.
