Review of the off road buggy, 1:8 scale, produced by King Motor, the model Explorer 1, the price is $326.

This model looks like HPI Apache, but it`s all-wheel- drive and it has adjustable rods.

The stock set is: the manual, hexagons, a wheel wrench, Servo Arm, 4S battery capacity 5000 40С. The digital remote control with the trimer steering and gas, dual rates, the big screen. If you want to make it work you need four 1.5V AA batteries.

The length of the model is 585 мм and its weight is 4,5 кг.The body looks very nice as the real one, with the driver and his friend)).

The electronics: digital waterproof servo, with the torque 15 kg. The brushed motor 2350 kv. Waterproof ESC 120A. The receiver 2.4 Ghz is in the sealed box connected to the block of lights. In sum we`ve got fully waterproof electronics.

The chasses: there`s a 4 мм thick aluminum bottom. 3 differentials with steel gears inside. There`s no backlash between drive differentials!!! On the front axle there are steel drive with joint and on the rear axle steel bone. Aluminum shaft holders, levers are the same as Apache`s, made monocoque style. Plastic shock absorbers with anthers on the rod, preload is regulated by the screw-thread on the body. There`s the antisway bar. The suspension unlike Apache is fully adjustable! The battery compartment is covered with the soft rubber inside and adjustable in length.

So the model looks really good. You can use King Motor spare parts as well as HPI`s , there are so many of them and it`s the big plus!!! To sum up, for $326 we get 1:8 buggy, four-wheel-drive, fully adjustable suspention and fully waterproof with the body that looks great!
