Although this RC had a reasonable turn of speed it kept cutting out with motor overheating. My suspicion is the minuscule extra weight disagreed with it. The steering was limp. I realise now the servo saver was doing it's job too well.
So the only sensible thing to do is go brushless. I have a Surpass hobby combo looking for a home so that will do. The servo is an odd size. I have just received the JX PDI-2506MG three wire servo as another upgrade. 2nd run soon.

Main RC chassis is WLtoys 12427, same as the 12428 with metal gears.

Wheels are from WLtoys 124301 truck. Glued tyres. Not much good on the truck but great for this application as they sit further into the body than the 12427 standard wheels.
