If you’ve seen my previous post, you’d know that I now own a working Rlaarlo 1/14 brushless rc buggy (metal chassis and independent ESC). This post is as promised in that video: hooking it up with a 3S LiPo battery (Roaring Top). I haven’t done anymore tuning as far as suspension and toe or body mod since I made the first video. Anyway this thing rips on 3S; the previous video was done using a stock redcat 2S Li-Ion battery that came with my Danchee. It had been snowing and icy lately and I did try the 3s on the icy sidewalks around my apartment but it got stuck in snow too much, so I had been pining to test it on dry ground. So, voilà! On a set of lightly treaded rubber tires that came with the car.
Video break down:
You’ll see the car at first at a setting from that snowy test: steering trim was at 75%, throttle trim at a reverse bias by about 5-10% and at 75% punch. Over the course of the video you will see me adjust first the steering lower to about 50% (car was spinning too easily at high speed at first).
Then, the throttle to 100%. You will see the car started to fish tail as it accelerated so quickly. lol.
Then, finally eliminating the reverse bias into 12 o clock position. (5:15).
