Even AMA members should be concerned about the effects of the latest changes to the FAA's regulatory framework. Mere transgressions of the AMA's safety guidelines can now result in a breach of FAA regulations with resulting consequences. What's more, new drone first-time drone owners will now need to be familiar not only with the FAA's rules but also with the AMA's rules and safety guidance if they want to avoid risking fines or prosecution.
