In this video, my sons are putting the SNAPTAIN H823H Plus and SNAPTAIN SP350 mini drones to the test and through their paces as beginner indoor drones. Both of my sons had very little experience with flying drones prior to these two drones. My older son used to train on a 3-channel electric trainer airplane and a simple coaxial helicopter, so he has a bit more experience with RC aircraft than my younger son. I ordered these mini drones from Amazon with the purpose of providing my sons with an alternative indoor activity other than playing computer games and watching TV during the COVID-19 stay-at-home period. These mini drones definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of novice-friendliness as well as sturdiness. They are very stable and easy to control. They also have many sophisticated features found on larger and more expensive drones, such altitude hold, headless mode, one-button takeoff/land, one-key return, three speed modes, 360 flip and roll functions, and toss start. Furthermore, each came with three batteries to extend their continuous flight times to almost half an hour.
