The Mi-2 light utility helicopter were mass production under license in factory Wytwórnia Sprzetu Komunikacyjnego (Polish People's Republic) only.
First prototype flight (built at factory №329 near Moscow): September 1961
On May 14, 1963, the second prototype of the helicopter reached a maximum speed of 253.8 km/h at a distance of 100 km.
The first flight of the Polish-made WSK Swidnik Mi-2 : November 4, 1965 (mass production from 1966)
