MIA EZ 1.0 Gyro RC Autogyro 2022

This is a revisit in depth look at the MIA EZ™ Gyro design and architecture. This particular one is the 1.0 size, but the same model design as in dozens, if not hundreds, of Flight and Performance videos I've done for more than 2 decades, of the same size and similar larger ones, in the MIA EZ™ Line. This is the 2019 version, still kicking.

If you have one of these and you can't fly it, you are doing something wrong or you are not following the simple instructions that are supplied with it. I've only had one recent instance of someone who actually shows it flying in a video, but apparently claims it does not fly, then what do you think the model is doing, I asked, after watching his flight video. No lack of Power on take off or issues with stability upon Landing.

The Pusher Design is Inherently Stable
No need for additional electronic stabilizing circuitry, this only add weight and is not required to fly the model. The model should be mechanically calibrated to adjust control sensitivity then followed with proper TX settings to dial in the amount required for your hand to stick control sensitivity requirement. A few trial and error flights are required, this is not a plug and play item and it is obvious by it being a KIT.

No Elevator Required (Not that type of model)
The model does not require an elevator, because the u-joint head has pitch up down provisions in addition to roll control and does that already via the "elevon mix"setting in your transmitter. This model is based on the Igor Bensen full size pusher design architecture and not a copy of another RC model, as should be also obvious by every one of my videos, since its first conception, from ground up.

While this model is very well engineered, beefy, yet lightweight, its size requires finesse, not only in set up, but in hand to stick coordination. Keep this in mind.

There is always someone wishing they could do the same or better out there and some even go as far as to put their 2 cents as experts, when clearly they are not.

What ever I design, I support and you as a customer should keep this in mind. You need to come to me and trust me on technical matters as I design the products and know best how the products I sell should be assembled, setup and flown. I am not perfect, no one is but I put a sincere effort in everything I do and what I say to people. This is how you establish longevity in a company or relationship when there is mutual respect and trust.

However, the proof is in the pudding, and I have made a lot of pudding for more than 2 decades of being a niche and unique small but dedicated aeronautical model company. If you are reading this and do not trust my work then you probably will not be happy with my product. In this case I ask that you carefully reconsider and save yourself and mine the time and effort, don't buy my products.

I am quite happy being who I am and doing the things that I have been able to do.
