Everyone has asked for it and here it is! The Cheap, Budget RC Drift Car. Does it drift with basic mods?! Yes it does! I can’t wait to get this WPL D12 out to the track to see if it can hang or if it’s going to need some more significant modification. I can definitely suggest the WPL D12 for a cheap fun RC drift project, it is not something to compare to a car like an RDX, RMX, MD, SD or any standard 1/10 RWD RC drift chassis but it is fun to rip around and I’m excited to play more with it. My plan with this build series is to keep it budget friendly and see if it can be brought to an actual RC drift track and get doors with the regular cars, my budget will be under $100 for upgrades, So far all the mods on the D12 have been “free” to me and might not be for you but I had these parts laying around in the spare parts box.
