Maiden flight of FlyFly Hobby Mirage 2000 .

Pilot AhNg spend close to three months converting this FlyFly Hobby EDF Mirage 2000 to Micro Turbine powered. Many surgery was performed to put the main tank in the fuselage at the CG point. As EPS is weaker then EPO, reinforcement was required. But because of light weight EPS foam, the total weight of the plane is less then 2.5KG with fuel.

Landing gear compartment has to be modified to get it at the right position for Freewing landing gear. The power plant is a older model of Jetcat P20 which had 20 hours flying time. Manual CG recommendation was at 390mm. One of our flying site member who had this FlyFly Mirage before recommended to place the CG at 400mm.
