Annual Wings Over Mackay Fun Fly Event

Saturday August 26th :
The day was a perfect day for RC flying, slight breeze, not too hot and mostly sunny.
After some small electrics and large gas Stunt Planes flew, the guys got their Turbine powered Jets ready to fly and this was what I was waiting for, high tech - high performance. Yesss.

And I was not disappointed by the lineup or flight action. I probably should have got more video recorded, I got plenty to make shorts videos, but operating the phone camera distracts me from just enjoying the moments of seeing these pilots perform some amazing flying. And I was really enjoying talking to the other pilots and attendees while we watched others take their turn showing off.

Some of the conversations would have been great videos and I wish I was more comfortable doing that kind of thing. I just don't like possibly making others uncomfortable by recording them when I get better conversations Ala natural face to face talking.
Maybe some day I'll have my shit together and thought out to try pulling it off.
