Home automation using RC Helicopter, using RC helicopter circuit boards to control light, make your home automation using RC toys, using 12 volt relay to switch the light, wireless control media is infrared. Making the relay drive circuit using BC 547 transistor, resistor, diode. transistor base is driven by infrared signal receiver module though 390 ohm resistor, power supply to the infrared receiver module is fed by 3 volt dc power source and 12 volt dc power supply is given to relay coil. Make sure that negative terminal of both 3 volt and 12 volt power supply is connected to transistor emitter. diode is connected in parallel to relay coil, phase wire is connected to relay normally open point, wire from relay common contact is connect to one contact of bulb and other contact of bulb is connected to neutral. when the remote button presses, signal is received from infrared receiver and it feeds positive signal to the transistor base so that transistor switches and makes the connection between relay coil and negative terminal, so that relay gets magnetized and pulls the armature so that common contact of the relay will come in contact with the normally open contact, hence current will flow and reaches the bulb, bulb glows.
