Restored Hirobo Falcon 555 Vintage RC Helicopter

A short video showing the second flight after a full restoration.

The Falcon 555 was produced by Hirobo in 1983.

Engine is an OS MAX 45 FSR that has been rebuilt with new bearings, piston ring, gaskets and seals.

Fuel is 80% Methanol, 16% Klotz KL200 and 4% Castor. Zero nitro.
Gyro is a Spektrum AR636A receiver re-programmed to provide a rate gyro on the rudder channel only. Set at 80% it gives the same feel as a mechanical rate gyro from 'back in the day'.
