HARD LANDING ! Martinair MD-11 RC Turbine Cargo Airliner: BEAUTIFUL FLIGHT ENDS VERY BADLY
A superb flight ends in terror for the passengers of this RC airliner as the landing goes very wrong. On final approach the pilot flare but not long enough to let the main landing gear touch down. The main landing gear and nose wheel touch down at the same time and this pitches the nose up into a stall that results in the aircraft slamming back onto the ground. Fortunately it appears very little damage was done. Testament to the strength in construction of this beautiful airliner.

This McDonnell Douglas MD-11 Martinair Cargo has 1 turbine engine. It is 3.23 metres wingspan and is 3.80 metres in length. Scale of the model is 1/16.
