This is my FT ALPHA fighter in the German Luftwaffe Phantom pharewell checkerboard design.
Flown in march 2017.

I started to fly RC planes in February 2017. This is my 3rd plane.

I used all the suggested electronics except a 30a instead of the proposed 12a ESC. My 12a ESCs are overheating all the time when enclosed in the fuselage.

*Setup*
Motor: 2204 2300kv (5€)
ESC: 30a (8€)
Prop: 6x4,5 (2,50€ for 10)
Battery: SLS X-CUBE 850mAh 3S1P 11,1V 30C/60C (9€)
Servos: SG-50 5g (5€ for 2)
Radio: FlySky fs-i6 (45€ incl. Receiver)

All electronics are from aliexpress.com or banggood.com.
The waterresistant foam board by FliteTest can be bought at eBay for 3€ a sheet.

That makes a total of about 80€ to start the hobby.

Many crashes can be fixed by hot glue.
If not, less than 10€ are lost for the foamboard, glue and most propanly the servos.
And because all the electronics are interchangeable between all the mighty mini models by FliteTest, every additional plane is just another 10€.

The plane got the paintjob with Montana Gold spray paint.
