After a short hiatus, the XFC is officially back in full swing. This year the event was held at Eli Field in Monticello, IL which is right down the street from Champaign, IL which has been the long-time home of Horizon and Tower Hobbies.

Competitors have come from around the world to compete in this prestigious event and title sponsor, Horizon Hobby, has done their part to make it special for all involved. A great flying field, amazing pilots, and a high dollar raffle make for a great weekend of competition.

It was amazing watching all of these extremely talented pilots throw down as they worked to get to the top step of the podium. In this video, you will get to see Alex Genovese Jr round 1 of the finals in the freestyle competition for helicopters. Unfortunately, his motor locked up and caused the crash but it was great flying to that point!!
