I finally had a chance to solo my new Eachine North American T-28 Trojan RC plane. Wow! This feels nice. The Eachine Mustang flies great and their Corsair is OK, but this just feels like it was born to fly. I am impressed. All three aircraft share the same motor, gearbox, and radio system, so it is the unique aerodynamics of each aircraft making the difference between them all.

The plane has three modes, high level gyro assist (forward switch position), low level gyro assist middle position) and manual mode (back position). The flight in this video was made in the middle transmitter switch position. It's too windy here for flying micros in manual mode (no gyros).

-- NOTE that I make all of my flights with landing gear removed, so I cannot say how the T-28 flies with 3 wheels hanging out in the air stream. But I expect no big issues, maybe 1-2 MPH slower at worst.

The T-28 does not have a steerable nose wheel, so ground handling may be iffy. Not my problem (no runway), but it could be yours if you do ground takeoffs. Perhaps blipping the throttle while holding up-elevator and hard rudder can lift and swing the nose gear around.

All in all, Eachine (or whomever designed it) did a good job with this bird. Piloting the Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan was a pleasure, as was making this flight video for all of you.
