...This video did not start out life as a music-video, it was just footage that I shot for my own interest in these incredible model aircraft....and I have no direct affiliation with the excellent LA-Jets Club, but I am a member at the field where they hold these events several times of the year...and I love to watch these things fly...as they have actual turbine-jet engines in them...and sound like the real planes...and often fly much like the full-scale versions as well....This was all shot at the summer and fall-08, and spring-09 events...and these planes range from $3k to $30K, and span up to 10-foot wingspans, so these are the among the largest and most expensive RC planes, and the pilots are also among the best and bravest...but, no matter how good you are..there are always mechanical and electronic failures...and one event here was plagued with violent and gusty winds...so while watching what I shot...the opening sequence to 'Top-Gun' kept running thru my head...and I finally decided to try and create my own humble homage to that fantastic 'music-video'.....Probably the Best enlistment commercial for the Navy that has ever been created!...I tried to cut the scenes to the music...so I just hope it uploads and plays back that way for you...Hope you enjoy it!....Thanks for reading this!...
