Hello!
Yesterday was the 1st of September and most of you probably know that we always get some sort of very special track on each 1st of the month that you would never see in another cup of the day otherwise. We already had some maps that were pure luck but last month for example we had a map that still required skill which is far better than the luck maps if you ask me.
This time we had a map that is kind of known as "micro machine" map. In Trackmania there already were entire competitions with these type of maps which is pretty interesting. In theory the maps are kind of normal but one thing is different: the camera perspective. With the help of the ingame mediatracker the author placed a custom camera that made it look like you're driving an RC car. Usually the camera is straight above the car, here you kinda had a view from the side which was totally fine as well.
Overall very cool idea for this occasion since it's still skill-based. I'm personally not the biggest fan of these type of maps but as a one-time thing it was great.
