Cottbus is positioned only few Kilometers from the Border to Poland - only 25 km from Bad Muskau where I was born.
It was great to see pilots from even the most western part of the country to entertain the local crouds.
The weather on the second day was not nice, so most you see is recorded on the Saturday.
The location is a former Russian / East German Luftwaffe airfield. un used to day. Some bits of MIG's and Helicopters are still around, even a WW2 FW 1990 wrack!
