Here's a glimpse into years gone by when RC jets were in their infancy. This Jet Hangar Hobbies Kfir is a model that I featured a while back, though at the time it was electric powered. Well, Corsair Nut decided to convert it back to glow ducted fan after sorting out some GDF reliability challenges he had had previously. Glow ducted fans are where I started in RC jets and though those days were fun, I can't say that I miss operating GDFs all that much. ;) That said, I love seeing this stuff and the smell of burned glow fuel really takes me back to those days (not to mention smells great, haha!). #TheRCGeek #Kfir #TheOldDays
