Even with a good deal of experience (been flying rc since '66), its easy to make a mistake if you are in a hurry.
I had been flying my Chaser with iNav, but was going to try the Arduplane port for the Omnibus F4 Pro....the flying field is an hour round trip from my house....when I got there, the receiver was not being detected and I had to turn around...determined to fly to test out a new motor, I reflashed iNAV, changed TX models, and headed back to the field....unfortunately, I forgot to re-setup FS in my RX, so when I got a glitch, instead of RTH, it disarmed and glided....after another round trip home to review the goggle video, I returned and after 1.5 hours of searching by direction finding the video, I miraculously recovered the plane....
