his rig has been bought many years ago as a 1:8 scale nitro powered buggy
from Kyosho, the "Inferno Neo 2.0". When I got my hands on it, I converted the power transmission to a "Team Orion 4S waterproof Brushless System". After having great fun for a year with that buggy, I decided to build a 1/8 scale Montertruck out of it, for the current winter season because here all RC tracks are closed now, until springtime. And we usually get a lot of snow, so that is the main reason for building a Monstertruck: to go out & have fun in the snow :-)
The body is identical to the body of my 1:10 scale "HPI Bullet MT Flux". I mounted the body on a "diy-body-mounting-kit" to get the look that I wanted. I placed the HPI Bullet next to my "Kyosho Bullet" to get an idea of the size difference between them.
