Team Associated RC10B74.1D 4WD 1/10 Buggy Team Kit Join the Cali Crew and review the best starter kit to start racing at your local track. My son, 12 year old Achilles ask me if he can start racing. Achilles just started showing interest in the RC hobby about 4 months ago. I started him off with a Tamiya TT-02B just to see if he can build it himself. He was very successful with the build. He really had fun and learned a lot. He gain knowledge of identifying parts and their purpose. With this kit it was a good Challenge for him with the smaller more detailed components. He learned how differentials worked and how different weight oils affect the handling. Bleeding the shocks was not his favorite part but with guidance, patients, focus and determination he was successful. This is just the beginning of his RC racing career and I'm excited to be part of it. The RC hobby has help him get out of his room and off the video games. We get to spend time together and get some exercise building and maintaining the backyard track. Most of all its fun and creates memories that will last a life time.
