Highlight of my day at Wimborne MFC seeing these cheap Lidl gliders perform with their RC conversions. For another £30 to £50 for the RC gear and 1 or 2 evenings you could have a glider that will thermal for a long long time on a Summer's day like we had at this Scale Day event.

This particular model reminded me of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning. Add the centre cockpit and it would look even better !

Thanks to Kevin, Matt and Bill who gave me this demo and talked to me about their Lidl gliders. I was informed afterwards they were from the Salisbury\Rollestone Model Flying Club.
