I did decent considering how poorly the day went, considering I was in 3 classes and the 17/5 Buggy & 13/5 Wheeler I was using BOTH broke in ways we couldn't fix.

The 17/5 buggy's front shock tower cracked in half and magically because it was a KYOSHO (which is amazing), we couldn't purchase a replacement shock tower because the hobby shop didn't stock Kyosho at all. We tryed to fix the broken piece, but was unable to get the piece to stay. The car is now parked. While racing, we also had issues with the solder on the wires connected to the motor breaking off due to being done cold. That was able to be fixed, but prevented many practice sessions.

The 13/5 Wheeler (4-Wheel Drive Buggy) had prior issues with the arms breaking. The first time I drove this car, was at Marcca, but shortly after, someone else was driving the car and broke the car after messing up a jump. While racing at the Associated Shootout, we had problems with the car overheating from being full-throttle almost all of the time because the car was set for a smaller track like Marcca with lots of turns and was geared down for a larger track with big, open straights. All of the cars we used were under geared

We have replaced the vintage TRAXXAS first gen SCT with a BRAND NEW TECHNO 410.3!!! Just wait and see what comes up next....
